The Ohio State University Traumatic Brain Injury Identification Method (OSU TBI-ID) is a standardized procedure for eliciting a person’s lifetime history of TBI through a 3-5 minute structured interview. The OSU TBI-ID is recommended for use by all health care and social service professionals.

A web-based training module is available at tbi.osu.edu. This training module is free of charge with an option to purchase CEUs if desired.

Our goal is to help service providers in Ohio to learn how to identify traumatic brain injury (TBI) and learn ways to Accommodate Symptoms of TBI so that individuals may be better able to live successfully in the community. All questions and answers will be categorized and added to a bank of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), so please check back frequently to see what is new.

If you have a question about TBI, there are a couple of ways you can check to see if we have already covered the topic. First, you can enter a keyword into the search box found to the right to search the site. Please also check our bank of frequently asked questions (FAQ).
